A New Earth

In response to the Black Summer fires, Margarita Sampson created dramatic textile works that transfigure landscapes into beings, caught between crisis and action.

Light from Nature

21 March - 1 June

This exhibition at Australian Design Centre, Light from Nature: Kim Dong Wan and Lucy Simpson showcases a cross-cultural collaboration, featuring Kim's glass works incorporating ottchil, and Simpson's representations of dhanggal (mussels) and giba (grinding stones).

Spontaneous and Uncommissioned

self portrait and we grew here were painted by Jason Wing and Vernon Ah Kee in 2009 on the wall of the former offices of Australian Design Centre. They have been recreated for Object Space as part of ADC’s 60th anniversary celebrations.

Gadigal Mural, designed by Sydney artist Jason Wing, with ADC's First Nations Creative Producers Dennis Golding and Lucy Simpson is a collaborative artwork referencing both the topographical patterning and material culture of Gadigal country.
