Exhibition Program 2020-2022
Call for Proposals

Australian Design Centre (ADC) is calling for new exhibition proposals for possible inclusion in the 2020-2022 program.

ADC curates approximately 19 exhibitions each year across three gallery spaces – Gallery 1 (upstairs), Gallery 2 (downstairs) and Object Space (our window gallery on William Street ), as well as associated public programs and events.

While the majority of the program is filled for this period, we have a couple of slots available in the main spaces with more opportunity in the window gallery.

Proposals may be for a solo exhibition, group or themed exhibition with its core focus on design and/ or craft. This might include furniture, lighting, industrial design, ceramics, jewellery, textiles arts, glass, metals, architecture, graphic design, fashion, paper and allied fields. Proposals should be inventive and engaging for a broad audience. We are looking for high quality, contemporary and progressive projects. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists are encouraged to apply.

ADC is a not-for-profit organisation creating opportunities for people to engage with design, craft and creative ideas.

Please send submissions with maximum one A4 page of text outlining your idea, your bio/cv and a reference image or url of images to hello@australiandesigncentre.com by Wednesday 20 March 2019.
