Australian Design Centre (ADC) board vacancies are filled from time to time to ensure that there is a good mix of skills and experience amongst the directors to oversee the governance of the organisation and support the CEO and the team.
We are looking for a professional craftsperson to join our Board in 2019. If you are a maker who has had experience on boards or committees and you think you have the time and skills necessary to make a contribution on a professional board we’d love to hear from you!
The current directors come from diverse backgrounds including professional experience in design, accounting and finance, fundraising, leadership, strategy, business and as board directors in other organisations. More information is on our website here.
Directors are required to attend a minimum of six meetings a year as well as participate in board committees and attend ADC events. Directors are also required to actively contribute to the ADC fundraising program and be regular donors.
