Emily Copp is a contemporary metal smith who fuses both old and new technologies and materials. She practices from her studio in Sydney’s vibrant inner west and is exploring 3D printing and modeling for her forms.
Growing up in country NSW followed by 7 years running a horse ranch in the mountains of Southern Spain, has given Emily has a strong connection to land and a particular interest in water sustainability issues.
Environmental and ethical concerns inform and motivate her works which meander through the design and creation of both jewellery forms and tableware objects within her practice.
