OBJECT SHOP MAKER Q&A
What is your 'origin story'?! Where did it all start?
I saw an amazing Bodil Manz work at ANG and thought I'd love one of those. Later on I decided to learn more by doing.
Describe the last thing you made?
A large multi-coloured under-glaze bowl with chequered glaze sgraffito pattern.
What part of the making process do you enjoy the most?
I treat all stages of production as equally important and so I spread the joy throughout the process.
What's next on the horizon for you?
I have been trying to emulate a textile texture with surface treatment and need to develop a more detailed approach - maybe a tartan next!
