Marcus Piper
A self-described digital craftsperson, Marcus Piper works between the varied creative disciplines with an approach based on exploration and process.
Having studied industrial design, Piper found his niche as a magazine art director and is the creative mind behind titles such as POL Oxygen, Habitus and Mezzanine magazine. During a two-year stint in London he worked for legendary British designer Neville Brody and designed Spanish designer, Jaime Hayon’s first monograph.
In 2016 Piper launched his first range of objects as part of the Pieman Collection for Dessein furniture and was a finalist in the Mercedes Benz Design Award. Committed to exploring the potential of ideas and process, Piper’s personal works take the form of complex vector based images derived from 15 years of digital and analogue experimentation.
