RINA BERNABEI
Rina Bernabei was our Object 150 Maker for August 2020.
Rina has worked in design studios in both Sydney and Milan. She is co-director of bernabeifreeman, whose award-winning design work has been featured in many exhibitions both locally and internationally, most notably at the Milan Furniture Fair and the Milan Triennale.
Her work has been published extensively and she has many written publications. She has also worked as Senior Lecturer in Industrial Design at the University of New South Wales for 25 years.
Rina has brought her industrial design experience to ceramics, exploring this new materials palette through hand thrown and hand built functional ware pieces. She also works with experimental 3D printed ceramics as part of her design research.
