A pioneer in the design and manufacturing of sustainable furniture, eco-preneur Michael Alvisse co-founded Schamburg + Alvisse in 1996, and has since become a leading example of eco-standards in design and production.

Named as one of Taschen Publishing Germany’s 100 leading designers for his work in the design studio, Michael frequently collaborates with the Australian Design Centre, training corporate executives, software engineers, and school children in ‘design thinking’ – the skill of transforming everyday problems into opportunities for growth and innovation, an education that ADC believes will lead to innovative business models of hybrid design studios and agencies.
