Working primarily in ceramics, and drawing on his fashion background, Addison Marshall blurs the boundaries between art, craft, drawing and design to create visual feasts that mix innovative ideas and materials.

Marshall has an innate sensibility with material, whether it be clay, paper, fabric or wood, and produces hybrid work that is quiet, and considered in many ways introspective. A recipient of several awards, including The N.E Pethebridge Ceramic Award and The Janet Mansfield Ceramic Award, Marshall’s work has toured nationally, and the Australian Design Centre believes Marshall plays a pivotal role in challenging traditional modes of thinking relating to ceramics.
