Akira Isogawa

One of Australia’s most celebrated fashion designers, Akira Isogawa has achieved worldwide recognition for his contemporary designs.

With his richly embellished fabrics and traditional prints, the craftsmanship and romanticism of his Eastern influenced work is legendary, and has cemented Akira as a true icon of the Australian fashion industry. Designing for his eponymous label, as well as for four Sydney Dance Company Productions, Akira’s work has also been fondly embraced by the Australian arts sector. He has exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Powerhouse Museum.
