Clover Moore

The first popularly elected woman to lead the City of Sydney in her role as Lord Mayor, the Australian Design Centre believes Clover Moore has made an invaluable difference to the art and culture scene of Australia’s most populated city.

Under Clover Moore, the Lord Mayor of Sydney’s leadership, the City of Sydney has developed a global reputation for delivering award-winning facilities, including new and refurbished parklands, libraries and performance spaces, as well as promoting design excellence and quality public art. Clover Moore, Lord Mayor, has also led the development and implementation of Sustainable Sydney 2030 – a plan that includes, amongst other projects, to encourage live music and performance art, and strategies for economic development, retail and tourism.
