Janne Ryan

Specialising in design and architecture, Janne Ryan is an ideas curator and budding entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Ryan is the Founding Executive Producer of TEDxSydney, as well as co-founder of By Design – an ABC radio program broadcast from 2007 to 2014. Dedicated to entertaining and educating the general population, the Australian Design Centre believes Ryan’s work plays an integral role in making grand design ideas accessible to the general public. In 2014, Ryan was awarded the Adrian Ashton Prize for Architecture in the Media by the Australian Institute of Architects, and she is currently developing her philanthropic project, the Creative Music Fund, a new philanthropic force dedicated to identifying and funding new ways of engaging and presenting Australian stories, arts and culture.
