Julie Paterson

Founder and owner of textile company Cloth, Julie Paterson has drawn inspiration from the strength and diversity of the Australian landscape, and has shaped her art practice that spans the last 20 years into a commercial success.

With a focus on locally sourced and sustainable materials, the Blue Mountains-based artist and designer has worked with the same local craftspeople for the lifespan of Cloth, and from the business’ conception has carved out a niche designing and screen-printing fabric for interiors – one that continues to be at the forefront to this day.
