Art and design writer, critic and curator, Margot Osborne has been active in Australian craft and design in a range of capacities for forty years, and has used her work, particularly her writing, to shape the greater arts community over this time.

Commencing her career as part of the inaugural staff of the Crafts Board, Australia Council, Osborne has curated many exhibitions including JamFactory’s national touring exhibition Designing Craft/Crafting Design: 40 Years of JamFactory in 2013, and she is the author of the latest SALA artist monograph Giles Bettison: Pattern and Perception.
