Sydney-based Aboriginal artist, writer, and curator Nicole Foreshew has been gaining traction at home and abroad, as her practice across a range of mediums – from photomedia, design, sculpture, film and video – becomes widely recognised and rewarded.

Last year, Nicole won the NSW Aboriginal Parliamentary Prize for her digital print work It comes without seeking 1, and was the recipient of the NSW Aboriginal Arts Fellowship. Nicole’s substantial range of work, as well as her potential for further impressive practice, is a gain for indigenous and non-indigenous Australians alike, with her powerful practice and voice for Indigenous culture making her a magnanimous mentor for future artists.
