With an art practice spanning several decades, Patrick Hall’s work encompasses furniture making, public art, graphic design and sculpture, and has appeared in countless solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally.

With several shows and collaborations with MONA and other prominent Tasmanian galleries, the Australian Design Centre believes he has played an important role in putting Hobart and Tasmania on the cultural map. Using a range of methods and materials such as, aluminium, wood, glass, acrylic and found objects, Hall’s eye-catching pieces are often interactive, and are renowned for their unique blend of design and functional sculpture.
