"This piece is based on designs from an op shop find. I am interested in reinterpreting the mass-made vintage images in a detailed handmade design in enamel. Doing this makes us stop and look again at design that we may otherwise overlook. Using op shop finds takes the discarded and rediscovers it."

Linda Blair studied Jewellery and Object Design and Jewellery Manufacture at Design Centre Enmore and has worked in enamel for over 10 years, specialising in liquid enamel. Linda is interested in the painterly aspect of enamel and how it can be used to create dimension and form.
