These floral-themed sculptures are part of a series Eliza has worked on since 2019. She explores techniques of bent lamination, steam bending, ebonising, staining and complex assembly, to create abstract artworks.

About Eliza Maunsell

With a background in theatre and live entertainment, Eliza studied at the Sturt School for Wood and started Eliza Wood Co to create her own designs. She lives and works in Wingello in the Southern Highlands where she makes sculptures, bespoke architectural pieces, fine furniture and lighting. Eliza’s wall sculptures have been twice awarded in the Australian Wood Review Maker of the Year Award.
