About the Work
Shelving, 2024
Tasmanian myrtle, walnut
$14,900
This dry structure shelving system is held together by wedges without any adhesives. The process is akin to the circular economy philosophy of the arts and crafts movement. Inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian simplicity and organic shapes, Richard transforms his rough sketches into works of art and functional furniture.
