The Parabolae hall table is Darren Oates’ signature piece. Working from his studio in the Hawkesbury, he predominantly uses reclaimed native timbers. Transforming trees cut down for urban development into beautiful furniture, he hopes to create collectable antiques for the future.

Darren is a fine furniture designer/maker who has been working with timber for over 20 years. He divides his work equally between commission work and his spec pieces which are shown in galleries across New South Wales.
