Seedstitch Contemporary Textile Award logo

This award is an open call-out to NSW contemporary textile artists. An exhibition at Australian Design Centre will feature shortlisted works.

This year we’re excited to announce a regional venue exhibition to follow as part of our ADC on Tour national touring program. Leveraging the relationships that we have with our tour venue partners the exhibition will tour to Tamworth Regional Gallery in late November. This is a great opportunity for shortlisted exhibitors to gain broader exposure to a regional NSW audience.

APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED

Australian Design Centre (ADC), in partnership with Seed Stitch Collective (SSC) is calling for applications from NSW textile artists to take part in the biennial Seed Stitch Contemporary Textile Awards (SSCTA) to be exhibited at ADC in October/November. Following on from the success of Seed Stitch Contemporary Textile Award 2018, ADC is thrilled to present this award for a second time in 2020.

SSCTA seek submissions from textile artists at any stage of their career residing in NSW. This is an open competition aimed at recognising highly skilled and diverse NSW textile artists.
