Australian Design Centre and JMGA-NSW present PROFILE 2025, the JMGA-NSW Contemporary Jewellery and Object Award.

This biennial exhibition showcases the diversity of practice across contemporary jewellery and object design with over 100 finalists contending for four major awards.

Australian Design Centre is an independent, not for profit contemporary craft and design organisation based in Sydney on Gadigal Land. The Centre’s role is a nexus between developing excellence and awareness of the creative industries and encouraging community participation and creative fulfilment through making and engaging in craft practices.

Recent exhibitions about contemporary jewellery practice produced by Australian Design Centre include: Profile 2019 and Profile 2022, Made / Worn, OUT OF DATE, Remade-Reloved 2024 and Deep Material Energy II.

The Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia, NSW (JMGA-NSW Inc.) is a membership-based organisation, representing jewellery and object practitioners throughout New South Wales. As a volunteer non-profit organisation, JMGA-NSW provides a forum to promote, support and develop the field of contemporary jewellery.

In this talk event a selection of makers exhibiting in PROFILE 2025: JMGA-NSW Contemporary Jewellery and Object Award will discuss their work and creative practice.
