Australian Design Centre and Workshopped – an exciting new partnership to present WORKSHOPPED18

Australian Design Centre (ADC) and Workshopped are thrilled to announce that WORKSHOPPED18 will be exhibited by presenting partner ADC this year.

WORKSHOPPED18 continues the annual exhibition showcasing the best new Australian design.  Workshopped will be continuing its important role as a mentor for industrial designers and manufacturers of Australian furniture, lighting and homewares. ADC will call for entries in the coming weeks. A selection of shortlisted designs will be presented at ADC’s gallery in William Street, along with a number of named awards and a program of events, including talks and functions.

“Workshopped is thrilled to be partnering with ADC for this year’s program, where we will continue to uncover the best and most innovative work by local talent within the design industry,” says Raymond Scott, Director of Workshopped.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to combine our respective breadth of experience in Australian design – we can’t wait to work with the Workshopped team and see how our venue and approach can provide a new perspective on the incredibly successful WORKSHOPPED exhibition,” says Lisa Cahill, CEO and Artistic Director of ADC.

“This is an outstanding opportunity to benefit from, and expand on, Workshopped's legacy of dynamic design exhibitions.”

A call for entries to WORKSHOPPED18, open to all Australian industrial and object designers, will be issued in the coming weeks. An exhibition of shortlisted designs will be held at Australian Design Centre, Sydney, opening 21 June.
