Sydney Craft Week is about celebrating creativity and the handmade in all its forms and in 2020 our theme is Change Makers. The Imperfect Manifesto by Blue Mountains-based textile artist Julie Paterson gives us a framework to let go of the fear of failure and embrace unrestrained and joyful creativity.

Australian Design Centre’s boutique outdoor Makers Market is back for the first time in 2020! With a distinctly Darlinghurst vibe this is a friendly local street market that emerges in the morning and is gone by nightfall returning the streets to local people.
UNSW Art & Design, in partnership with Australian Design Centre, JamFactory and Design Tasmania, have been awarded an Australian Research Council linkage grant to investigate sustainable design using a transformative repair model.
