Creative opportunities celebrating Sydney WorldPride

Sydney WorldPride is a global LGBTQIA+ pride festival coming to Sydney for the very first time during February and March 2023. Australian Design Centre is inviting creatives, artists and designers to apply for two new exciting opportunities to mark the festival.

Queer Mart: A Darlo Makers Market needs you! 

Creative, artists and designers are invited to apply for Queer Mart: A Darlo Makers Market, presented by Australian Design Centre for Sydney WorldPride. This lively daytime market on Sunday 26 February will feature 20 stalls selected by special guest curators Nikita Majajas and Jeff McCann.  

We looking for makers of unique Australian handmade craft and design across ceramics, glass, metal, jewellery, textiles, furniture, homewares and more to apply. Opportunities are also possible for makers of other artisanal products and experiences. If this sounds like you, please put in an Expression of Interest before 12 October 2022.

Object Space Expressions of Interest

Makers, artists and designers are invited to apply for two exhibition slots in Object Space window gallery, one during Sydney WorldPride and one in late 2023. 

Australian Design Centre will support you with installation, marketing and an artist fee.

Applications close 12 October 2022 at 11.59pm.
