What do sustainability, social justice and wellbeing have to do with fashion?
Come along and find out!

Join fashion design icon Frida Las Vegas hosting an entertaining and informative discussion with a panel of early-career fashion designers; Kerry Brack, Sally Jackson and Joshua Saacks, and fashion and textile designer and academic, Donna Sgro.

The designers are included in Australian Design Centre’s current Object Space exhibition Fashion Futures, presented in partnership with UTS Fashion and Textiles.

Discussion topics will include sustainability, social justice and wellbeing and their work creating new fashion with the future of the planet at the centre of their practice.

Host, Stavroula Adameitis aka FRIDA LAS VEGAS, is a multi-faceted artist, designer and creative director. She is inspired by the cultural landscape of suburban Australia during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Stavroula's FRIDA LAS VEGAS universe remixes nostalgia with glamour to create a bold, colourful and rebellious visual signature across visual art, fashion and accessory design.

This promises to be a great evening for fashion enthusiasts and those looking for ideas and practical ways to improve the fashion industries environmental and social footprint.

Attendees are invited to dress up in their own version of sustainable street fashion and there will be a prize awarded for the best dressed!
