The Australian Design Centre officially opens Shapeshifters: 3D Printing the Future tonight at Western Plains Cultural Centre (WPCC). The exhibition is all about imagination and new methods of making. Drawing on the high-tech and the rapidly evolving world of 3D printers, Shapeshifters revolutionises design.
After a successful season at the Australian Design Centre in 2015, Julie Paterson's Cloth: From Seeds to Bloom will venture around NSW until the end of 2016, making its first stop at Gosford Regional Gallery.
2015 has been a big year in the arts and cultural space. At the Australian Design Centre we celebrated 50 years of working in craft and design, and moved to our new home in William Street, Darlinghurst. Our gallery space has enjoyed several exciting exhibitions this year, including a collaboration with the Australian Museum on Future Nature.
