As part of the final iteration of ADC’s major touring exhibition, CUSP: Designing into the Next Decade, featured health technology designer Leah Heiss joined forces with exhibition designer Katherine Bond to engage 30 enthusiastic participants in designing technologies for better health and wellbeing.

The third and final of our The Gold Club events of 2015, which is conversation series that shines a spotlight on how influential women have contributed to the Australian craft and design landscape. Featuring Lyn Balzer, Melanie Katsalidis, Maree Clarke, Nina Cueva and Dr Anna Lebovic.

Paul's innovative work will be remembered through the success of CUSP: Designing into the Next Decade, which reached over 50,000 people around Australia between 2013-2015, educating them about the power of design to improve disadvantaged communities.

Congrats to Lola Greeno who won this week's Weekly Fringe Award for Best Art and Design at this year's Adelaide Fringe. Lots of great comedy, music, cabaret, and children's events included in the wrap up and are definitely worth checking out!

Steve's legacy is enormous. He has been a sensational leader, thinker and advocate for design for many years. At ADC he has initiated many ground-breaking programs to promote Australian design, and we remember his 16-year tenure in highlights.

We opened to a bustling crowd on Wednesday night for Art Month Sydney's Art at Night, featuring the opening of Lyn Balzer and Tony Perkins' Scented Intoxication: Reimagined. The multi-disciplinary duo have taken their studio on the road from Palmer Lane, Darlinghurst, into the beautiful 1850's dwellings of 46 Kensington St.

Congrats to our 2015 Designers in Residence who are are one of 19 applicants that have secured a residency space through the City of Sydney's Creative Space program.

This week we opened the works of Marie Hagerty and Robert Foster from Karen Woodbury Gallery for Art at Night as part of Art Month Sydney. Exploring colour, movement and semiotic form, the works of Hagerty & Foster blur the boundaries of contemporary art and design through conceptual object-making. Their exhibition runs until the 15 April.

Emotional intelligence pioneers The School of Life will be returning to Sydney and we're very pleased to be holding their Pop Up Term program of events, workshops and salons at our gallery between 28 February - 23 March.
