We are pleased to be working with two emerging designers who will take part in Arts NSW 2016 Indigenous Design Mentorship.

Lucy Simpson is a textile, graphic and object designer, recently featured at Museum of Contemporary Art's Primavera and is founder of design and textiles label Gaawaa Miyay.

Today I was out walking in the sun with a new team member and I realised that it is a year to the day that we opened our new gallery spaces here on William Street in Darlinghurst. The Australian Design Centre (ADC) has been notified that we were unsuccessful in the Australia Council for the Arts' four year grant round for small to medium arts organisations.

As part of the Australian Design Centre’s exhibition, Shapeshifters: 3D Printing the Future, Modfab will be running a series of 3D Printing and CAD Workshops for anyone keen to discover and explore the relatively new technology of 3D design.

Meet ceramicist Tania Rollond whose art practice intersects poetically and rhythmically with her sculptural ceramic forms. Sometimes Tania’s forms are recognisable but more often they are vaguely familiar. Tania is part of the Clay Intersections exhibition until 21 September.
