The Australian Design Centre is hosting a pop-up studio on Saturday 17 August from 10am - 4pm as part of the Australian Ceramics Open Studios. 

ADC presents Real to Reel: The Craft Film Festival in Sydney on Thursday 5 September 2019 at the Chauvel Cinema Paddington.  

Australian Design Centre is celebrating NAIDOC WEEK (7 – 14 July) with a range of exhibitions and activities.

Studio A is a supported studio based in Sydney, developing artists living with intellectual disability. Lisa Cahill spoke to Studio A's CEO and Artistic Director Gabrielle Mordy about the recent series of films for Art Bites featuring six of the Studio A artists shown on ABC iView.

Bridget Kennedy is highly regarded contemporary jeweller and director of Bridget Kennedy Project Space in North Sydney. She has been a long-time supporter of Australian Design Centre and we spoke to her to find out why. 

Earlier this month over 700 delegates gathered in Hobart for the 15th Australian Ceramics Triennale.  Five days of conversations, demonstrations, exhibitions and networking as potters took over Princes Wharf.  Galleries all over town opened exhibitions of the work by Australian and International artists.

Lola Greeno has been honoured with the prestigious Red Ochre Award, for outstanding lifetime achievement at the 12th National Indigenous Art Awards.

We are delighted to announce the results of a fantastic partnership with the City of Sydney’s Art & About Sydney program for a new public artwork located at the rear of the Centre in Barnett Lane, Darlinghurst. 

We're looking for one emerging or established ceramicist who does not have their own suitable space but would like the opportunity to meet with the public and share their work as part of the Australian Ceramics Open Studios 2019 on Saturday 17 August, 10am-4pm.
